Schreitcity is Martin Knöll's digital portfolio. Knöll studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart, where he is a PhD candidate at the institute Grundlagen Moderner Architektur und Entwerfen (IGMA) since December 2007. As part of his doctoral thesis on the relationship of urbanism and health, he is a visiting scholar at the Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts of the Middlesex University in London/United Kingdom, where he deals with interactive media and healthcare. In 2008/2009 he developed »Diabetes City«, a concept for a mobile health game for children and teenagers with diabetes, together with the IGMA and the diabetes center of the Olgahospital in Stuttgart, Germany.
